Our Story
Berlin Flooring was founded by Einar Berlin in 1953. His son, Steve Berlin, took over the company in 1991 and continues to lead the business today. Our consistency and dedication to quality have set us apart from other companies in the area. We don't hire inexperienced employees or use sub-contractors, and instead, maintain a small team of experienced professionals who have been with the company for at least 14 years. This approach enables us to maintain our high standards and deliver exceptional results.
Our Expertise
Our team has received specialized training through the Lagler Premium Sanding Technology (PST) course, which certifies their knowledge and ability to obtain premium wood surfaces using our Lagler sanding equipment. Our estimator, Scott Tarpinian, is a Certified Sales Advisor through the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Certified Professionals program. He has attended the NWFA Installation, Sand and Finish school in 2004 and continues to stay up to date on the latest products and techniques in the hardwood flooring industry by attending the yearly NWFA education conference and trade expo.
