Svoboda Floor Service, LLC was founded in 1982 by Norman and Janet Svoboda. Norm, also known as "Norman the Floorman, " began his career in flooring in 1975 and quickly developed a profound appreciation for the beauty of wood. After honing his craft under well-known master craftsmen like Birger Juell, Norm started Svoboda Floor Service, LLC. Over the years, Norm has mentored many others in this trade and is widely regarded as an accomplished specialist in wood flooring in the Chicagoland and Southeastern Wisconsin area.

The business has grown through referrals, and the Svoboda family has grown along with it. Graham Svoboda, who grew up in the business, has been an integral part of the operations since 2006. As an expert craftsman, Graham is committed to integrating the ancient craft of wood flooring with today's technical society. His emphasis on green engineering and reducing our carbon footprint ensures that we are looking toward the future with great expectation.
