Installation Methods
We offer various methods of wood flooring installation, including nail down, glue down, and floating. Each method has its own process and requirements, and our experienced team will help determine the best method for your specific needs and preferences. Our installation methods include:
- Nail down: typically done over a 5/8" or 3/4" plywood subfloor, this method is used for solid flooring and involves nailing the wood floor to the subfloor.
- Glue down: typically done over a clean concrete or plywood subfloor, this method involves applying a urethane or acrylic glue to the subfloor and laying the wood floor on top.
- Floating: laid over a subfloor with no vertical nail or glue down attachment, this method involves installing the wood floor over a resilient underlayment and clicking the pieces together.
