Our Story

Maynard Flooring Co. is a family-owned commercial flooring business with a rich history that spans over four generations. Our journey began in the 1940s when Grandpa Ralph Maynard Johnson started installing flooring and passing down his knowledge and passion to the next generation. His son, Dale Maynard Johnson, sparked a passion for floors as a high school sophomore, leading to the establishment of Johnsons Carpet & Tile. The Maynard family's expertise has been integral in flooring projects for Minnesota icons such as the Oneida and Alworth buildings. Today, Paul Maynard and Brandon Maynard, Grandpa Ralph's grandson and great-grandson, respectively, continue the legacy with the same passion and perfectionism.
