Our Story

Brown's Hardwood Flooring Inc. was founded by Peter Brown Jr. in 1968 in Marshfield, Massachusetts, during the South Shore building boom. Nearly 40 years later, Peter's son, Gregory, took over the business and moved it to a convenient location on Route 5 in Wilder, Vermont. We have been serving the I89 corridor from Montpelier, Vermont to Manchester, New Hampshire, providing premium wood flooring sales, professional installation, sanding, custom staining, finishing, and refinishing services.
