At Robbins Hardwood Flooring, we take pride in our commitment to providing exceptional quality and service. Our journey began in 1990, and since then, we have been dedicated to serving the state of Connecticut, particularly the Farmington Valley and beyond. Our owner, Kent Robbins, is a lifelong resident of Connecticut with over 30 years of experience in installing and refinishing hardwood floors.

Our mission is to provide personalized service to meet our customers' flooring needs and exceed their expectations. We only use the highest quality materials and finishes, ensuring that every project we undertake reflects our commitment to excellence. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working on various projects throughout Connecticut, including the prestigious CT Governor's Residence in Hartford.

In addition to our residential projects, we have also been involved in several community service initiatives. In 2005, Kent served as a lead contractor for the renovation of "The Vine, " a house on Vine Street in Hartford that serves as an office and outreach center for Hartford City Mission. In 2008, we installed a new floor as a gift in kind in the Observation Room in the Hublien Tower on Talcott Mountain in Avon, CT. The floor was a custom solid basket weave parquet in quarter sawn white oak, matching the original floor from 1914.

We have also been involved in notable projects such as St. Mary's church in Simsbury, Pollack's Fine Clothing on Nantucket Island MA, and the Junior League of Hartford's 2012 Designer Show House. Moreover, Kent served as the flooring lead for a new house built on the TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition in 2009. Located in Suffield, this project involved managing a crew of 25 people installing 4,000 square feet of flooring in an 8-hour period.
