Our story began with Ray Davis, who at just 23 years old, took a leap of faith to pursue his dream of owning a carpet store. With the support of his parents, Lee and Ellen Davis, Ray secured a $1,000 loan to start his venture. Since then, Davis Carpet has grown to become one of the largest flooring retailers in the region, remaining family-owned and operated throughout its history.

History and Growth

Over the years, Davis Carpet has undergone significant growth and expansion. After starting in Enid, Ray moved his business to Bryan, Texas, where he continued to build a successful operation. Eventually, the family returned to Oklahoma, and Davis Carpet relocated to a larger facility in Oklahoma City. In 1999, the company made its final move to Yukon, where it now operates from a 12,000 square foot showroom. This journey has allowed Davis Carpet to establish itself as Yukon's Best Floor Store, with a reputation built on quality, service, and value.
